I just heard about DIY pads on Etsy, and I thought I'd like to try making my own to get exactly what I want because I'm overwhelmed with the options out there and I want specific things.

Ideally what I want is:

Super absorbancy for EXTREMELY heavy flow.  Hopefully these will work for a massively heavy flow?

What is the deal with wool or felt in cloth pads? Would you still soak them after use? Do you have some? Love em or leave em? Thanks.

Hi ladies! Just a few quick questions for you all...

I've been making pads out of flannel, terrycloth, and fleece, but I'm becoming more interested in fabrics like wool.

Do any of you use wool in your pads? For the outside, middle, or back? How do you care for them (i.e. hang dry)?
